Gold Temporary Tattoos: A Brief Guide

By Scott Ward

Makeup is part and parcel of everyday beauty routines for most people. It is tiring to have to put it on every day. Sometimes, one forgets or does not do it very well which is a problem for some people. Gold temporary tattoos bring the solution for those who are tired of everyday fixes. It lasts several years and if done right, is a safe practice.

Permanent makeup is basically a coloured tattoo made in the right place using the right colour. It is applied to the desired location to look like the traditional makeup applied in that particular region. The difference is that it does not have to be applied daily until after years when it starts fading. In addition, one does not have to clean or refresh it.

The most common areas where permanent makeup is applied include the eyes, lips and eyebrows. It is particularly helpful for those without eyebrows or those who there are faint or partial. On the lips, it eliminates the need to use lipstick. In addition, it reduces lipstick bleed and helps in hiding scars. On the eyes, it is a powerful eyeliner, eliminating the need for an eyeliner for years.

Although it sounds really convenient and easy to get a permanent makeup, there are numerous things to consider before actually having one. First, it is important to realize that removal of makeup is very difficult. Therefore, whatever you decide to put on is for the long haul. Use colours and designs that you are proud of and that will survive changes in fashion tastes and your beauty standards.

Another factor is the level of risk you are comfortable with. The process of getting permanent makeup involves making wounds on the skin. Although they ultimately heal, the level of risk is different for everyone. Wounds may get infected, or even the process increase your likelihood of acquiring infections such as hepatitis. Also, the wounds are particularly sensitive to certain radiations from the sun.

To ensure that you are on the right side, the process must begin by identifying a proper aesthetician to work on your procedure. Such a beauty therapist must be trained and licensed by the relevant authorities. In addition, their place of work must be presentable and business like. It is imperative that you double check their credentials and also let them refer their former clients so as to verify the quality of their work.

The process of applying permanent makeup is rather easy. The tattooist first sterilizes the region they will be working on. Then, he or she uses a needle to draw an outline of the tattoo that will be inscribed. A second needle is used to apply pigment to the skin layers. The pigment gets into the hole that the needle makes each time it penetrates the skin.

After the procedure is done and completed successfully, one has to take care of the wounds just like in any other case. Avoid removing the scabs that may form as this will keep reviving the wound by making it fresh everytime it closes up and heals. Also protect it from direct sunlight until it heals. Lastly, be on the look-out for signs of infection.
