There are many people living within the state of Louisiana who have placed their parents into a care facility. She had become quite a burden to the young people who were working within this location. They grew tired of lifting her in and out of bed each and every day for her baths. When the old woman had also become quite stubborn one helper slapped her across the face. On another occasion this same staff member threw a plate of hot food on the old lady.
The selfish granddaughter who had placed her in this environment only visited the old lady once a month. She could not pick up on any of the warning signs that were given to her when she did come to visit. Anyone could tell that the staff members were able to put on a good deceptive act since this older woman could not voice her own opinions anymore.
After her granddaughter left each staff member would start their wickedness all over again. This was indeed a horrible place to live but no one would ever find out about the terrors within this facility. The senior men at this location would let their beards grow out since they were afraid to visit the barbershop within the facility.
Many of the other residents were allowed to sleep in their own bodily fluids throughout the night since no one would take them to the bathroom. The entire place smelled like feces and urination at night. Some of these patients had sores on their body because of this neglect. These incidents continued to happen for many years.
The old grandmother finally died and no one ever knew about the tortures that she went through. Finally the state discovered the problems that were happening within this place and they decided to do something about it. The entire staff was fired and some of these workers were even brought up on charges. One male was even sent to prison for raping a few of the older female patients.
