They advise on things to the employers and their employees and they are every in and outs. They tell them what to do and advise on things that need to be advised. Sure, they will help but that is more of a last resort than anything. Please refrain from causing anyone any grief with your shenanigans.
But if it is exactly the opposite of that and you just definitely screwed yourself and the company, then you can expect to be released after this whole thing blows over. And then you will have a hard time looking for another job because of the reputation you just built on yourself. Really, we all should just behave.
Make sure that you are on your best behavior. Stop trying to embarrass your company by doing strange acts. Especially if they are of anything indecent. Those are not professional acts or anything that makes your human. We humans may be a terrible breed but even we have standards. We do not resort to being animals.
Luckily for you, there are lawyers that will stop you from ever getting into that kind of punishment if you did not deserve the punishment. But then again, this also means that other people who have obviously done the crime will also get the chance to get away from punishment and their due karma, which is honestly unfair.
But enough of that, as much as it pains us to think about the truth of the world. Let us go back to corporate counsels because they at least help out their employees with little thing and big things all the same when it came to their work. And some things that needed help with because God knows we all need it.
Especially for those who do not care enough for political and legal stuff and is suddenly thrust into the pit and may need the advice of someone who is smart about it. Luckily they are there for our convenience, huh? Or else we are screwed. Or just be forced to talk to strangers either way just to learn about stuff.
That has been made by innovation. Take that away and we are suddenly precious creatures who could do no harm. Maybe in a different universe that was us.
